COURT SECURITY
AND
TRANSPORTATIONS
One of the primary functions of the Sheriff's Office is providing security to the Sussex County Judicial Complex and the transportation of prisoners.
Officers are assigned throughout the facility for security. There are 5 Superior Court Judges who conduct trials and other proceedings in criminal, civil and family court matters. The Sheriff's Officers assigned to the Judicial Complex are detailed for courtroom security, transportation of inmates to and from the county jail.
